Give Spark the plot, such as two lemons breaking up, and a photo of real fruit if you like. Rift makes the scene as one short, silent shot.
What you need
- An iPhone with Rift.
- A plot in one line: a couple, a rival, a betrayal.
- Two or three characters. More gets muddy.
- Optional: a photo of real fruit from your kitchen.
Step by step
- Pick the plot. Breakups, love triangles and surprise parties all work.
- Open Rift and tell Spark. Name the fruit, the feeling and the place.
- Check the Draft. Reply to change the order of events.
- Make. Tap Make and wait for Spark to tell you.
- Add text when you post. Rift does not add text over video yet.
Lines to try with Spark
- “A lemon and a lime on a kitchen counter, the lemon turning away, the lime heartbroken.”
- “A strawberry, a banana and a peach on a dinner date, the peach gets up and leaves.”
- “Two grapes arguing in a fruit bowl while an apple watches.”
- “A tomato proposing to a basil leaf in a garden, golden light.”
- “A pineapple storming out of a fruit salad.”
Why it works
- One emotion. Jealousy, heartbreak or pride, not three.
- A clear setting. A table, a bowl or a counter.
- Close-ups. Fruit faces need a close shot.
- A beat at the end. A look, a turn or a drop.
- Silent is fine. The face carries the story.
