Short version: getrift.xyz is a static website. The Rift AI iOS app processes media only when you choose to create an edit, and purchases remain handled through Apple's App Store systems.

What this policy covers
This policy applies to the Rift AI iOS app and getrift.xyz. It explains what information we collect, why we use it, the providers that help us operate Rift AI, and how you can request deletion or support.
Website data
getrift.xyz is a static marketing and legal website. The current website does not upload or process your videos, does not provide account login, and does not run third-party web analytics. Standard hosting logs may still be processed by Cloudflare or other infrastructure providers to deliver and protect the site.
Account and profile data
Rift AI uses app identity and backend account records to keep your generations, purchases, and settings connected to your device. The app uses a Rift AI-controlled anonymous customer identifier and device attestation records; it does not require account login.
Account data may include a Rift AI customer identifier, profile records, onboarding answers, entitlement status, app settings, device attestation records, abuse-prevention signals, support notes, timestamps, and records needed to operate restore, deletion, and notification flows.
Media, prompts, and generated outputs
When you create an edit, the app may send selected source videos, reference images, trend or template identifiers, prompts, style choices, generation settings, and related metadata to Rift AI backend services so the request can be processed.
Uploaded media and generated outputs may be stored in Cloudflare R2 or equivalent Rift AI-controlled storage. Generated videos may remain available in your app history unless removed through account deletion, media deletion support, abuse review, legal requirements, or operational cleanup.
Purchases and subscriptions
Rift AI uses Apple in-app purchases. RevenueCat and Superwall may help manage paywalls, purchase status, entitlement checks, subscription events, top-ups, restores, and related support workflows. Rift AI does not receive or store your payment card number; Apple handles App Store billing.
Analytics and attribution
Rift AI may use AppsFlyer and Mixpanel to understand installs, onboarding, paywall activity, purchase events, restores, feature usage, generation events, crashes, and product performance. These services may receive app identifiers, customer IDs, device information, attribution information, event names, and event properties.
Where required, Rift AI asks for iOS App Tracking Transparency permission before using tracking that requires consent. You can manage tracking permission in iOS Settings.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, Rift AI may store your Apple Push Notification token, app bundle, environment, opt-in state, and related delivery records so the app can notify you when a generation finishes or when service messages need to be delivered. You can turn notifications off in the app or in iOS Settings.
Social reward claims
If Rift AI offers social reward programs and you submit a claim, we may store the platform, post URL, normalized URL, generation ID, claimed performance, evidence, review status, admin notes, and reward decision so the claim can be reviewed and credited.
Support messages
If you contact support, we may process your email address, message content, device or account identifiers you provide, generation IDs, purchase context, screenshots, and follow-up history to investigate and respond. Please do not send sensitive media unless support asks for it.
How we use information
- Operate the app, website, accounts, uploads, AI generation, app history, purchases, restores, notifications, and support.
- Process your selected media and prompts into generated videos.
- Maintain purchase entitlements and reconcile App Store transaction events.
- Detect crashes, troubleshoot failures, prevent abuse, protect backend credentials, and improve reliability.
- Review social reward claims where those programs are available.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Service providers and sharing
We share information only as needed to operate Rift AI, support users, comply with law, prevent abuse, or complete a business transfer. Providers may include Cloudflare, Apple, RevenueCat, Superwall, AppsFlyer, Mixpanel, email/support tools, and AI video generation infrastructure.
Rift AI does not publish your private uploads or generated videos as marketing materials without permission. Provider details and credentials remain server-side.
Retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide Rift AI, maintain app history, support purchases and restores, prevent abuse, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and operate backups. Generated outputs may be retained unless deleted through product or support workflows.
Some records may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, fraud-prevention systems, provider systems, or financial records even after account deletion.
Deletion and privacy choices
- Use Delete Account and Data in the Rift AI app to request account deletion.
- Use iOS Settings to manage Photos, notifications, and tracking permissions.
- Use Restore Purchases in the app to refresh App Store purchase status.
- Email support@getrift.xyz for privacy, access, correction, deletion, or media-removal requests.
Deleting Rift AI data does not cancel an Apple subscription. Manage subscriptions and refunds through Apple.
Security and international processing
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the service, but no internet or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Your information may be processed in countries outside where you live, including locations where Rift AI and its service providers operate.
Children
Rift AI is not intended for children under 13, and you should not use Rift AI if you are not old enough to consent to this policy in your location.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as Rift AI changes. The effective date above shows when this version took effect. Material changes will be posted on this page or communicated in the app where appropriate.
