How to make a podcast cover picture with yourself on it

Updated · Reviewed by The Rift team

Short answer

Add a clear photo of yourself in Rift and tell Spark, Rift's video agent, the look, such as you in front of a warm studio shelf with a bold orange backdrop. Spark plans the picture and shows a Draft. Tap Make and you get up to 4 versions at once, in your Library, to pick a cover from.

A clear photo of you and a line about the look give you up to four cover pictures to choose from. A clear face and a bold colour stand out at thumbnail size. If you make video episodes too, see a YouTube thumbnail picture of yourself.

What you need

Step by step

  1. Add your photo in Spark.
  2. Say the look. Backdrop colour, light and the pose.
  3. Check the Draft. Ask for more space around you.
  4. Make. Tap Make to get up to 4 versions. The price is shown on the Make button before you tap.
  5. Choose one in your Library.
