How to make a portfolio teaser video from your photographs

Updated · Reviewed by The Rift team

Short answer

Add one of your best photographs in Rift and tell Spark, Rift's video agent, how it should move, such as a slow push in as the wind lifts a veil. Check the Draft, tap Make, and you get a video of up to 15 seconds that teases your portfolio and points people to your site.

One of your photographs becomes a moving teaser that shows a client how you see light and where you would put the camera.

What you need

Step by step

  1. Add your photograph in Rift.
  2. Tell Spark the motion: a push in, a drift, hair or fabric moving.
  3. Check the Draft. Keep light, colour and pose as in the photo.
  4. Tap Make after seeing the price.
  5. Post from your Library and link to your portfolio.
