How to make an AI avatar of yourself to use in every video

Updated · Reviewed by The Rift team

Short answer

In Rift, add two or three clear photos of yourself and save them as your character. From then on, say 'me' in any line to Spark, Rift's video agent, or pick yourself when Spark asks who should star, and every video uses the same face and look. Update the photos when your hair or style changes. It's yours, and you can delete it anytime.

Save two or three photos of yourself as a character once, then say “me” in any line to Spark and your face and look come along. You never need to hunt for a selfie again.

Two or three clear ones: a face photo and a full-body photo are a good pair.

Can I make one for a friend?

Yes, with their OK and their photos.

Can I change my avatar's style?

Yes. Say "me, as anime" or "me, in a suit" in any line; your saved photos stay the same.

Does Rift learn from my photos?

Only if you say yes. Rift asks after your first video, and it's off until you allow it.

Can I delete it?

Yes. Delete it in the app, or delete your account and data in Profile.
