Searching for an AI UGC app turns up several tools that look alike. They mostly share an idea: an AI actor holds your product and talks about it, and you make many versions to test. Rift comes at it from the other side, starting with your product and your own photos on an iPhone. We make Rift, and every fact below about the others comes from their own pages, with the date we checked.
What people mean by UGC-style
User-generated content, or UGC, ads look like a person filmed them on a phone: a hand holding the product, a casual setting, a direct look to camera. You can get that look with an AI actor, with your own footage, or with a clip built from your own product photos.

What stands out about each
- MakeUGC lists talking actors, product-in-hand, ad remakes, batch mode of 10 variations, an API and an MCP server on its pages.
- Arcads lists 1,000+ actors, translation into more than 30 languages and a shared canvas for teams to build and test ads. It marks some editing features as coming soon.
- Creatify turns a product or app store link into a video and lists an ad tracker and ad clone on its higher plans.
- HeyGen is the most avatar-led of the four and also lists text-to-video and video translation. Its page has no dedicated UGC feature, though it lists product demos and sales promos among video types.
Pick one of those if
- You need many actor-led variations to test at once.
- You want a talking presenter or translation into many languages. Rift does not do talking presenters yet.
- You work at a desk and plan a stream of ads.
Pick Rift if
- You are on an iPhone and want one UGC-style clip of your own product, now.
- You want you, or a character you made, in the clip rather than a stock actor.
- You want the price on the Make button before you tap, and a stopped Make not charged.
To try it, start with turning a product photo into a video ad or remaking a winning ad with your product. Each Rift video is up to 15 seconds and one shot.
A note on disclosure
Ads with AI people in them should follow the disclosure rules of the platform you post on and the advertising rules where you sell. Read the current policy before you publish.
What we don’t say
We don’t claim Rift is cheaper, quicker or better, or that any of these tools suit you less. Pages we could not read, or plan details they did not show, are left out.
