A product page with a still photo asks the customer to imagine the rest. A short video does the imagining for them: the pour, the splash, the glow on a shelf. You can make that from the packshot you already have.
What you need
- An iPhone with Rift.
- One clean photo of your product, front on, full object in frame.
- A sense of the ad: a reveal, a splash, a product on a stage.
Step by step
- Add the photo. Open Rift and add your product photo from your camera roll.
- Say the ad. One line about the scene and the mood.
- Check the Draft. Spark plans the shots. It shows what stays (your product, its label) and what changes (the set, the light).
- Make. Tap Make. The ad is saved to your Library.
- Post it. Add your link and text in the app you share to.
Lines to try with Spark
- “My candle on a marble podium, slow turn, soft golden light.”
- “My cold brew can bursting through a splash of ice and water.”
- “My leather wallet taken apart in the air, then coming together, black background.”
- “My hot sauce bottle on a diner counter with steam and a neon sign behind it.”
- “My trail shoes on a mountain ridge at sunrise, camera pushing in.”
Tips for a clean result
- Square on, sharp, plain. A white sheet and daylight beat a busy desk.
- Show the whole product. Cropped edges get invented. Keep margins around the object.
- Pick one effect. Splash, spin or reveal. One clear move beats three.
- Think about the buyer. A food product wants steam and warmth; a tech product wants clean light and metal.
- Make a few and compare. Small sellers learn fast: post the splash and the podium, keep the one that holds attention.
Beyond the packshot
The same flow works for a handmade ring, a bag of coffee, a service van or a dog bed. You can also swap the set while keeping the same product, which gives a whole month of posts from one photo shoot.
