Add photos of the people and tell Spark the door and the dance. Rift makes the doorway routine as one shot, or Spark can copy the steps from a clip you share.
How the format works
- The door. A front door seen head on, with the camera fixed on the entryway.
- The entrance. One person steps through, then the next, and so on.
- The dance. Everyone repeats the same short move, so it reads as a routine.
- The ending. The whole group ends up in the doorway, in step.
Why it works
The fixed camera makes every entrance easy to compare, and the repeats are satisfying to watch. It is also a good fit for groups: each person gets their own moment, which makes people want to send it on.
Make your own in Rift
- Open Rift and add a clear photo of each person who comes through the door.
- Share a dance video you like, or describe a short move.
- Tell Spark: “Three friends come through a front door one by one and each does the same short dance. Camera stays still on the doorway.”
- Check the Draft and tap Make.
- Find the video in your Library and post it.
Rift makes one shot of up to 15 seconds. Titles, text and sound are not in the app yet, so add them in your posting app. For a related idea, see make a group dance video from one photo.
Ideas for a new take
- A family coming home from a trip, one by one.
- A dog, a cat and a rabbit trotting in through a cat flap.
- Colleagues arriving at the office, each with a coffee.
- Shop staff walking through the shop door at opening time.
Keep it fun
Ask before you use a friend’s photo, and keep it clear the video is made for fun.
