Add one photo of yourself and tell Spark which character you turn into. Rift makes the reveal as one short shot.
How the format works
- The cover. The person hides their face with their hands or a sleeve.
- The wait. A short beat so the viewer leans in.
- The reveal. The hands drop and they are a vampire, witch or skeleton.
- The pose. A slow stare at the camera finishes it.
Why it works
The change happens in one move, so it is easy to read and easy to rewatch. Halloween gives everyone a character to choose, from sweet to scary.
Make your own in Rift
- Open Rift and add a clear photo of yourself, face to camera.
- Tell Spark: “I cover my face with both hands, then lower them and I am a pale vampire in a dark hallway, slow stare.”
- Check the Draft and tap Make.
- Find the video in your Library and post it.
Rift makes one shot of up to 15 seconds. For the full guide, see Halloween character reveal video.
Ideas for a new take
- A dog hiding behind a pumpkin, then a werewolf.
- A parent and child, both revealed as ghosts, with the parent’s OK.
- A shop owner who becomes a skeleton behind the counter.
Keep it fun
Use your own photo or a friend’s with their say, and keep it clear it is made for fun.
