Add one clear photo of yourself and tell Spark the character, such as a mermaid, an elf or a space captain. Rift shows up to 4 versions at once, and you can turn your favourite into a video.
What you need
- An iPhone with Rift.
- One clear photo of you, facing forward, hair off your face.
- A character idea with a setting.
Step by step
- Pick the photo. Choose a sharp one in even light. Half-body works well for costumes.
- Tell Spark the character. Name the creature or role, plus the place: a coral reef, a snowy mountain, a ship’s deck.
- Add details. Colours, materials and mood do a lot: pearl scales, mossy armour, a glowing visor.
- Check the Draft. Ask for up to 4 versions at once. The price shows on the Make button before you tap.
- Make, save, animate. Keep your favourite in Library. Use Turn into a video for a drift of hair or a swirl of water.
Lines to try with Spark
- “Make me a mermaid with a teal tail, floating in a sunlit reef.”
- “Turn me into a woodland elf with silver hair, in an old forest.”
- “Dress me as a knight in dented armour, holding a lantern at night.”
- “My cat as a wizard, long hat, library full of candles.”
- “Me as a retired space pilot, boots on a red desert.”
Tips
- Describe the setting as well as the costume. A tail without water looks pasted on. Light and surroundings make it work.
- Choose a focused photo. Hair covering the face makes it harder to keep your likeness.
- Pick colours that agree. A cool palette for water, warm for fire, earth tones for a forest.
- Ask for realistic or painted. Say “photoreal” for a cinematic look, or “storybook” for a softer style.
- Make it a set. Three characters from one photo make a good post: for example, water, forest and sky.
Beyond costume photos
Fantasy suits a gift for a child, a game night invite, a book cover for something you wrote, or a team picture where everyone gets a role.
