How to make a movie poster of yourself from a selfie

Updated · Reviewed by The Rift team

Short answer

Add a clear photo of yourself in Rift and tell Spark, Rift's video agent, the kind of film: an action poster in a burning city, a 90s rom-com, a horror poster in a dark hallway. Ask for up to four versions. Tap Make and pick your favourite in Library. Add the title text in your posting app, then turn the poster into a short video if you like.

Add a selfie and tell Spark the film style. You get a poster with you as the star, good for a profile picture or a group chat.

  5. Add the title in your posting app, or turn the poster into a video.

Tips

Questions people ask

Can Rift add the film title?

Words on the picture aren't reliable yet. Ask for space at the top and add the title in your posting app.

Can I put my friends on the poster?

Yes. Add each friend as a character and say who plays which role.

Can I see several poster options?

Yes. Pictures can come in up to 4 versions at once, so you can pick the poster you like.

Can I copy a real film's poster?

Make your own. Use the genre and the mood, not a real film's title, actors or logo.
