From one clear photo, ask Spark for three looks: one for work, one for a dating profile and one relaxed. You can see up to 4 versions at once and keep the ones that look like you.
What you need
- An iPhone with Rift.
- One clear photo of you, facing the camera, in even light.
- A rough idea of where each picture will live.
Step by step
- Choose the base photo. Pick the sharpest, most recent one. Head and shoulders is ideal.
- Open Spark and add it. Tell Spark you want headshots, and what each one is for.
- Describe the three looks. Keep each to a few words: outfit, backdrop, mood.
- Review the Draft. Spark sets up the pictures and shows the price on the Make button. Ask for up to 4 versions at once to compare.
- Make, then choose. Tap Make. Save the ones that look like you on a good day into Library.
Lines to try with Spark
- “Work headshot: navy blazer, plain grey wall, neutral smile.”
- “Dating photo: denim jacket, golden hour, laughing, a street behind me.”
- “Profile photo: casual tee, bright window light, relaxed.”
- “Founder headshot for my bakery, apron on, flour on the counter behind me.”
- “Same photo for my dog’s account, with a small bow tie.”
Tips
- Start from your best real photo. The result can only be as good as the face it learns from. Skip sunglasses, heavy filters and group crops.
- Change one thing per look. If you change the outfit, backdrop and mood together, the face drifts. Name the outfit and backdrop, leave the face alone.
- Pick the believable one. A headshot that looks a bit like you on a great day beats one that looks like a stranger. If the eyes or smile feel off, ask for another version.
- Match the crop to the place. Work sites crop to a circle, dating apps to a portrait. Ask Spark for “head and shoulders” or “waist up”.
- Keep the background simple for work. Plain wall, soft office, bookshelf. A busy street suits a dating photo, not a CV.
Beyond headshots
The same method suits a team page for a small shop, a creator avatar, a family card or a profile picture for a pet. Show Spark one good photo and name the look.
